The 1st Georgia International Music Festival presented by the Atlanta Virtuosi Foundation will be a three week international music festival with young musicians from the State of Georgia and the People Republic of China, offering a unique cultural exchange of concert performances and in-depth music studies with professional faculty and international concert artists.

The event will comprise of 34 musicians that concentrate in the study of classical repertoire, working one on one with faculty and participating in side by side performances. American and international concert artists, along with members of the Atlanta Virtuosis, compose the distinctive professional faculty, further supporting this cultural joint endeavor. Proposed venues include Symphony Hall, the Carter Center, the Georgia Aquarium and Freedom Hall at the King Center.
